Our Process

During your Ultherapy® Prime treatment at Limelight Medical Aesthetics, you'll start by completing a health questionnaire and consent form, followed by baseline photos to track your long-term progress.

Your skin is then thoroughly cleansed of all products, and ultrasound gel is applied. Using micro-focused ultrasound technology, your provider views and targets specific tissue layers, delivering energy to precise depths while monitoring your comfort. All planned treatment zones across the face, neck, or chest/body are addressed, and many clients pair this deep lifting procedure with surface treatments like Deep Fractional Scar & Texture Revision. Afterwards, we'll review your post-care instructions to help maximize your collagen-building results.

Pre & Post Treatment Care

Schedule your appointment at least two weeks before special events. Stop all retinols, acids, hydroquinone, and acne products 24 hours prior, shave excess hair, and arrive with clean skin free of makeup or sunscreen. Daily Vitamin C (500–1000 mg) and broad-spectrum SPF 30+ support optimal collagen production. Treatment is contraindicated during pregnancy, or with active infections or open wounds.

With no downtime, you can immediately return to work and normal activities. Mild temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, tingling, or jawline bruising may occur as tissue heals. To allow natural collagen remodeling, avoid anti-inflammatory medications like ibuprofen for several days, stay well-hydrated, and apply SPF 30+ daily available on our shop. Visible lifting begins around 3–4 months as new collagen forms, with follow-up progress photos taken at 4 months.
